Babicz Identity Series Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic
Guitar Mahogany
This quality-crafted dreadnought uses the icZ Acoustic
System, including the lateral compression soundboard, a continually
adjustable neck, and a torque-reducing split bridge. The icZ system
produces pure tone, more projection, action adjustments that can be
performed on-the-fly, and more adjustable intonation.
It also features a solid spruce soundboard, solid mahogany back and
sides, rosewood bridge, rosewood fretboard, mahogany neck, black
binding, 25-1/2" scale length, and sealed black tuners.
Lateral compression soundboard
Lateral compression is created by anchoring the strings directly to the
guitar soundboard. This stored energy is released acoustically as the
guitar is played. The increased strength inherent in the design allows
more delicate internal soundboard bracing.
Continually adjustable neck
Allows quick, easy, on-the-fly adjustments of the string height without
altering scale length or neck pitch. Turn the included key and go from
high to extremely low action seamlessly without detuning!
Torque-reducing split bridge
A striking and innovative design allows for intonation adjustments
throughout the life of the guitar, at any time. The bridge is secured to
the soundboard through a unique fastener design, which can be easily
repositioned. Rotational torque is dramatically reduced, minimizing
soundboard warp. Bridge saddle height never needs to be altered and
volume and tone remain permanently enhanced.
