Megadeth

Megadeth

Megadeth is an American heavy metal band, founded in 1983 by singer and guitarist Dave Mustaine and bassist David Ellefson. Megadeth is the pioneer of thrash metal movement in America and later throughout Europe. To date, Megadeth had 12 studio albums, three live albums , published four compilations, 26 singles, two EPs and 32 music videos, and are currently working on her thirteenth studio album.

In the history of Megadeth  there have been numerous line-up changes, and Mustaine is the only constant member. Also, David Ellefson, who worked until 2002 on the temporary dissolution of the band on every album, is one of the founding members.  The most successful line-up is given to the 1990-1999 with Mustaine as a singer and guitarist, bassist Ellefson, Nick Menza on the drums and Marty Friedman on the second guitar. This team brought some of their most successful albums like "Megadeth Rust in Peace", "Youthanasia", or the double-platinum "Countdown to Extinction".

Worldwide, Megadeth has sold more than 25 million albums.
