Often guitar tablature is referred to in different ways. You will also here it referred to as tab, notation, tabs and numbering. Sometimes if the tab comes with lyrics, sites will refer to it as sheet music but really they mean guitar tablature.

Whatever you call it, guitar tablature has become one of the primary ways that guitarists have learned to develop their skills without the expense of guitar lessons.
