Yamaha 01V96V2 Digital 969KHz Mixer

Yamaha 01V96V2 Digital 969KHz Mixer

Yamaha 01V96V2 Digital 969KHz Mixer

Prepare to be amazed at how far Yamaha digital evolution has come. Now the 01V96 has been upgraded to Version 2, which features a number of improvements and enhancements in both functions and operation.

Digital audio technology has come a long way since the early days of 16 bits at 44.1 kHz — a format that many considered to be the reason for "harsh", "cold" sound. The entire industry is now settling on 24-bit/96-kHz digital operation for significantly superior sonic quality. The 01V96 mixer does give you a choice — you can work at 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, or 96 kHz, depending on the needs of each individual project. But when you want the truly transparent, incredibly dynamic sound of 24-bits at 96 -kHz, the 01V96 is ready to deliver. It even includes a comprehensive range of superb 96-kHz compatible stereo effects with 32-bit internal processing.

Right out of the box the 01V96 gives you 16 analog channel inputs — 12 with high-performance microphone head amplifiers — and eight digital channel inputs via a built-in ADAT optical interface. Without going any further you're ready to handle a comprehensive mix of analog and digital inputs.

All the 01V96 input connectors are top-mounted for easy access in any application. The first 12 analog channels feature high-performance head amplifiers for microphone or line input that deliver a pristine signal to the mixing console's precision 24-bit/96-kHz A/D converters. The 48-volt phantom power for condenser microphones is switchable in 4-channel groups, while trim controls and pad switches facilitate optimum level matching with the source, and channel inserts make it easy to insert external analog processing gear into the pre-A/D signal path.

Inputs 13 through 16 accept balanced/unbalanced line-level signals singly (each input has an independent trim control) or in pairs for stereo input. When you need more, Yamaha offers a range of Mini-YGDAI expansion cards that can simply be plugged into the 01V96 expansion slot to provide additional I/O in a variety of formats: ADAT, AES/EBU, TDIF or analog.

The 01V96 offers a main stereo program bus, eight individual mixing buses, two solo buses, and eight auxiliary buses — a total of 20 in all. This gives you plenty of signal-routing options to adapt to just about any mixing requirements.

Surround is becoming an important part of modern sound production. The 01V96 audio mixer features 6.1, 5.1 and 3-1 surround panning modes so you can create surround mixes without having to sacrifice features or performance in other areas.

The 16 channel strips on the 01V96 panel provide access to the most essential operations for the corresponding channels. Depending on the currently selected layer, the channel strips will control channels 1 through 16, channels 17 through 32, or the eight AUX sends and eight buses (the "Master Layer"). Also, the channel faders will function according to the settings i

Yamaha MG32/14FX 32-Input 14 Bus Mixer with DSP Effects

The Yamaha MG32/14FX 32-Input 14 Bus Mixer with DSP Effects represents a completely no-compromise approach to PA. It's built for great sound, total control, and superior reliability and goes through the same rigorous quality and reliability tests as Yamaha's world-class PM-series mixing consoles. By taking full advantage of the latest technology and manufacturing techniques, Yamaha has been able to pack this superlative mixer with more value than you'll find anywhere else. In short, the MG32/14FX offers extraordinary performance and mixing power at remarkable prices.

If your application is live sound reinforcement, you'll want all the channel capacity you can get-just in case. Vocal mics, instrument mics, stereo keyboards, direct-injection feeds, drum mics, and the rest can add up very quickly. With 32 input channels, the MG32/14FX is ready to handle all but the most ambitious setups. And with dual SPX digital effect systems onboard, you won't need racks of outboard gear to get the sound you need. There's also a range of group and auxiliary busses to make even complex mixes easy.

32 input channels

The MG32/14FX has 24 mono microphone/line channels, with 4 stereo line channels.

Mic preamps with phantom power

All 24 mic preamps in the MG32/14FX are of exemplary quality. They offer low-noise, transparent amplification with the widest possible range of dynamic and condenser microphones, which adds up to cleaner, better-sounding mixes. All mic preamps feature switchable phantom power for studio condenser microphones. Phantom power is switchable in 8-channel groups.

Illuminated switches

Illuminated On (channel), PFL (pre-fader listen), and phantom power switches let you confirm critical console settings at a glance.

14 buses for flexible signal routing

With a total of 14 mix buses (main stereo program bus, four stereo group bus pairs, six auxiliary busses, and two internal effect busses), you get lots of input channels for the high demands of live sound reinforcement, plus room for group submixes or aux sends for external signal processing and monitor mixes.

Channel EQ

The 3-band EQ with sweepable mids provided on all input channels is designed for exceptionally smooth, intuitive response that can help you create cleaner, tighter mixes. All mono channels also feature a switchable high-pass filter that can cut out unwanted low-frequency noise.

SPX digital effects

Two high-performance digital signal processing stages are fed by separate effect buses and enhance the mix with two separate effects simultaneously. Each stage provides a selection of 16 pro-quality effects, including reverb, delay, pitch change, chorus, phasing, vocal doubling, distortion, and more. Parameter controls can be adjusted to tailor the effects to your sonic requirement. Tap delay makes it eas

The EMX5016CF delivers the convenience of an integrated powered mixer with input capacity, flexible features, and solid sound that critical live applications demand. It is remarkably compact and portable for a live sound system with this much capability. And thanks to leading Yamaha digital technology, the EMX5016CF also includes a number of innovations that make it easier than ever to achieve top-class sound in just about any venue. An impressive power output of 500 watts per channel means it can handle fairly large audiences, indoors or out.

Versatile 16-input configuration adapts to varied source requirements
The EMX5016CF has a total of 16 input channels eight for monaural microphone or line input plus four stereo pairs. The stereo channel pairs can function either as monaural microphone inputs or stereo line inputs. This system gives you extra microphone inputs if your sources are mostly microphones, or if you need to handle more stereo sources, the EMX5016CF will comfortably handle four pairs in addition to eight mono mic or line inputs.

Advanced channel EQ
3-band EQ is available on all input channels, but extra versatility is provided on the eight mono channels with mid-frequency sweep controls. The mid EQ center frequency can be continuously swept from 250 Hz through 5 kHz so you can precisely pinpoint frequencies in the critical midrange.

Ample I/O for expansion and integration
All you need to create a powerful, high-performance live sound system is the EMX5016CF, a pair of speakers or two, and your sources. But it does feature a range of inputs and outputs that allow it to be expanded with external gear or integrated into larger systems. Insert patch points on the mono input channels, for example, let you add outboard signal processing to individual input channels. And although you have all the monitor power and effects you're likely to need built in, external aux and effect sends allow you to route the mixer's signals to external signal processing and/or monitor systems as required. Stereo out, stereo sub-out, and record outputs are also provided.

One-knob compression on the first 8 channels
The EMX5016CF features compressors on all monaural microphone/line channels that can help to make vocals ride the mix better, give you that smooth compressed guitar sound, deliver more punchy bass, and generally refine your mixes in a multitude of ways. These unique one-knob compressors are surprisingly simple to use. There are no multiple attack, threshold, makeup gain, and other controls just set the COMP control to the amount of compression you need.

9-band digital graphic EQ with presets & memory
This advanced digital 9-band stereo graphic equalizer goes way beyond conventional analog types with a refined control interface, instant-recall presets, and user memory locations. It also works with the console's

14 buses offer convenient routing options. These include the main program bus; four stereo channel bus pairs for grouping channels, six aux buses (four pre or post, two effects sends), and two internal effect buses for the dual effects processors.

Dual SPX digital effect processors are on separate buses, so two separate effects can be engaged at the same time. The 16 pro-quality SPX digital effects include reverb, delay, pitch change, chorus, phasing, vocal doubling, tap delay, and more. Parameters can be adjusted to customize effects.
